"I got tired of being scammed, ghosted, and disappeared on. So I'm building the community I wished existed."

I'm Logan. I'm 37, I live in Athens, Georgia, and I run a Chuck E. Cheese — a place built on making kids feel safe and happy. A couple of years ago I came out of a relationship that was traumatic, but that ultimately showed me how strong I am and what I'm worth. My longest relationship before that lasted almost ten years.

Recently I stepped back into online dating, and it broke my heart in a different way. I had guy after guy try to scam me for money. I got ghosted constantly. I'd plan a date, feel like I was finally connecting with someone — and then they'd just vanish. It's crazy-making. And the apps themselves? Either they're expensive just to be allowed to talk to anyone, or they're wide open to scammers and people who treat other humans like disposable swipes.

So I decided to build something different. UBeLong isn't a money-grabbing company preying on people who are lonely and longing for connection. It's a real, safe community — human-verified, genuinely moderated, affordable on purpose. A place where you can find your person or your people, and where you're protected while you look. 💷 Dutch-first — no free-meal hunters

Every curated date starts as Dutch (split evenly), so no one's here just for a free meal. But if the date goes really well, either person can choose to cover the whole bill and send the money back to the other afterward. Generosity earned, not expected.

Zero money between members. No exceptions. Asking another member for money — for any reason — is strictly forbidden and grounds for removal. UBeLong is not a place to be be hit up for cash, ever.
